How It Runs

Alella's wines compare to nothing else in Catalonia, and the enologist explains exactly why over the tasting: soil, wind, sea. The rest of the day runs at your own pace, on the water and at the table.

Meeting point - Barcelona Port

The exact meeting point within the port will be confirmed before the day of your tour, and you set off along the Catalan coastline toward Alella.

On the water (approx. 1.5–2 hours)

The boat follows the coast north. Onboard snacks (olives, chips, crackers) and a choice of soft drinks, beer, wine, or cava.

At the winery (approx. 2 - 2.5 hours)

A professional enologist leads a guided visit of the vineyard and cellar, explaining the appellation and its organic production, then opens three wines. The tasting runs alongside local cheese, cured sausage, and bread with tomato, olive oil, and salt. This part of the day is shared with other guests.

Return to Barcelona

A private vehicle brings you back to central Barcelona. The boat does not sail back; the return leg is by road.

Good to Know

Private by design, with one shared leg: the sailing and the return transfer are private to your party; only the winery visit and tasting are shared, alongside other guests and a professional enologist.
Physical level: light. The winery visit involves walking on vineyard terrain; comfortable, flat shoes advised.
Weather: sailing is weather-dependent. In adverse sea conditions the itinerary may be adapted, with advance notice.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled date (excluding monument/attraction tickets, which are non-refundable). An optional cancellation insurance is available during booking, allowing cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund (excluding tickets where applicable). Operator cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are fully refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.
