The day centers on a working winery in Colmenar de Oreja: cellar, barrels, and a seated wine tasting paired with Iberian ham and cheese, guided by someone who's also a wine expert. How It Runs

A full countryside day at an unhurried pace — walking is light (village streets and a working cellar); the tasting is seated and generous with time. The order of the day may vary with availability.

Pickup. Your guide meets you at your hotel for the drive out to Colmenar de Oreja.

The winery. Cellar, barrels, and the process behind the bottle — walked through by your guide, who's also a wine expert. Wine tasting paired with regional appetizers.

Olive oil tasting. Worked into the day at one of the wineries.

Chinchón. A guided walk through the historic quarter and the circular Plaza Mayor, then a second cellar among the aging barrels.

Free time. Lunch on your own in Chinchón, at your own pace.

Done. Drive back to Madrid. Nine hours, two villages, one very good bottle to remember it by.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled date (excluding monument/attraction tickets, which are non-refundable). An optional cancellation insurance is available during booking, allowing cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund (excluding tickets where applicable).

Operator cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are fully refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.
