This tour argues you need three angles to read the city properly. On foot, privately guided through the Old Town and Passeig de Gràcia, six people at most, with close-up time at Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Then a boat crossing from Port Vell, where the coastline pulls back and Barcelona starts to read as a place rather than a map. Then six minutes over the city by helicopter, where the grid, the shoreline, and the relationship between the old city and the sea finally line up.

On Foot · Old Town & Passeig de Gràcia

The walk moves up Passeig de Gràcia for close-up time at Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, then into the Gothic Quarter. This is the usual route, though your guide may adjust the order on the day.

On the Water · Port Vell to the Heliport 

A boat crossing along the harbour, about 5 minutes, timed to connect with the helicopter schedule. Not a transfer between two points: the first view of Barcelona as a single coastline rather than a series of streets.

In the Air · Barcelona by Helicopter 

Check-in and a safety briefing at the heliport, then six minutes over the city and coastline. The flight video is captured automatically and shared with you afterward.

 

The return 

A private vehicle transfer takes you back to your agreed drop-off point.

Good to Know

  • A valid passport or government-issued photo ID is required for every guest at helicopter check-in. No exceptions.

  • Getting to the meeting point: Passatge de la Concepció is just off Passeig de Gràcia. The nearest metro is Passeig de Gràcia. A taxi or rideshare from your hotel is the easiest option if you're staying outside the area.

  • Helicopter weight limit: maximum 130 kg (286 lbs) per passenger. Guests between 110–130 kg (242–286 lbs) will need to purchase a second seat at the heliport; seating is assigned by the flight crew for safety reasons.

  • Private by design, with two shared legs: your guide and the walking portion are exclusively yours. The helicopter flight and boat crossing run on a shared schedule, both can be upgraded to fully private, see Enhance Your Experience.

  • Physical activity level: moderate: includes some uneven, historic paving in the Gothic Quarter. Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes recommended.

  • This private experience can be conducted in English or Spanish; other languages available on request, subject to guide availability.

  • Ideal for: travelers who've already spent time in Barcelona at street level and want the version of the city that ties it together, from above.

 

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled date (excluding monument/attraction tickets, which are non-refundable). An optional cancellation insurance is available during booking, allowing cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund (excluding tickets where applicable). Operator cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are fully refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.
