Seville Private Tapas Tour: Wine & Rooftop Experience
What Sevillanos order, where they order it, and which wine goes with it, over one evening in the old town.
What Sevillanos order, where they order it, and which wine goes with it, over one evening in the old town.
Seville's tapas and wine culture, tasted across three traditional taverns in the Casco Antiguo and Santa Cruz, with a different Andalusian wine at each stop. A 3.5-hour private tapas tour with a local guide for your party only, ending with a drink on a rooftop by the Giralda.
In Seville, tapas are less a meal than a way of moving through the evening: a plate and a glass at one bar, then on to the next. Doing it well comes down to knowing which tavern to walk into for what, and that knowledge is what a local guide brings to this private tapas tour. Your party visits three traditional taverns in the Casco Antiguo and Santa Cruz, each with its own tasting and a different Andalusian wine, while your guide explains the dishes, the wines and the neighborhood between stops. It suits couples and families who want Seville's food culture explained rather than guessed at, and first-time visitors who'd like one evening that shows them how the city eats. The last glass comes on a rooftop by the Giralda, with the rest of Seville's night still ahead.

A tip for your guide (not required, but if they earn it, they’ll appreciate it)
In Seville's old town, the hard part of tapas is knowing which tavern to walk into and what to order once you're there. Your guide works this route regularly: the tastings and wines at all three taverns are arranged in advance, and the route links them on foot from Plaza Nueva to the Giralda in one continuous evening.
Meeting point · Plaza Nueva

Third stop · Tavern in Santa Cruz
The longest stop of the evening, around an hour, as the walk threads past the Giralda into the Santa Cruz quarter.
Closing · Rooftop over the Casco Antiguo
The evening ends with a drink above the old town skyline, a short walk from Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, close to most old-town hotels.
