A helicopter and two thousand years of winemaking set the day's pace. The twenty-minute flight from Barcelona crosses Montserrat's silhouette before landing directly on a family-run estate in the Penedès DO, no transfer, no road between the sky and the vines.

A professional oenologist leads the vineyard walk and cellar visit, explaining how the estate's limestone-clay soil and altitude shape a Cava the valley floor can't replicate. The day closes with a seated tasting of the estate's own selection, paired with local tapas, before the private car ride back to Barcelona.

How It Runs

Your day begins at the Barcelona heliport. No city transfers, no waiting, you are airborne within minutes of arrival. Your guide for the estate is its own oenologist, and the return car is already booked, so nothing needs coordinating between the vineyard and your hotel.

Barcelona Heliport → Penedès · 

The coastline, the Llobregat delta, then Montserrat's silhouette to the north before the vine rows appear. Landing is directly on the estate.

Vineyard Walk  

The oenologist meets you at the vines. You move through the estate's parcels, oldest sections first, limestone-clay blocks last, learning to read the terrain before you taste what it produces.

Cellar Visit  

Traditional Cava production through secondary fermentation in bottle, then the contemporary still wine programme. The barrel room. The ageing facilities. The full arc of how this estate works.

Wine Tasting  

A curated flight of Parker-rated Cava and still wines, paired with a small selection of local bites, seated at the estate or, weather permitting, among the vines.

Good To Know

  • Ideal for: adults only (18+), couples, and small private groups who want a wine region built around access and pace, not a long drive.

  • This private experience can be conducted in English or Spanish. Other languages upon request, subject to availability. 

  • Footwear & terrain: the vineyard walk covers uneven ground across working vine rows, flat, closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

  • A valid passport or government-issued photo ID is required for every guest at helicopter check-in. No exceptions.

  • The helicopter has a maximum of 130 kg (286 lbs) per passenger. Guests between 110–130 kg (242–286 lbs) will need to purchase a second seat at the heliport; seating is assigned by the flight crew for safety reasons.

  • Penedès runs through most of the year, but the vineyards look different by season, vines are green and flowering April–June, harvest activity picks up through August–September, and outdoor tasting depends on mild afternoon weather. Helicopter scheduling also tends to be steadier outside the winter storm months.

  • Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergies when booking, always accommodated at the tasting, and at the Chef's Lunch upgrade if added.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled date (excluding monument/attraction tickets, which are non-refundable). An optional cancellation insurance is available during booking, allowing cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund (excluding tickets where applicable). Operator cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are fully refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.
