The Best of Costa Brava & Empordà
Sea Trail Hiking & Gastronomic Tour.
Sea Trail Hiking & Gastronomic Tour.
More than a trail—it’s a story written by wind, stone, and salt. Over three days, reconnect with your senses: walk cliffside paths, share local meals by the sea, and step back in time in medieval villages. This is a private journey designed not just to move your body, but to move your soul.
A curated 3-day private experience combining the most iconic sections of the Camí de Ronda with inland exploration of medieval villages like Pals and Peratallada. Includes boutique lodging, professional local guide, private transport, boat trip, and selected meals. Ideal for small groups or couples seeking exclusive active travel.
Iconic beauty and the taste of the sea.
Morning (10:00 AM): Arrival in Calella de Palafrugell. Your private driver drops you off at the starting point. While we handle your luggage and deliver it to your hotel, your walk begins. The first impression is unforgettable: the fishing boats on the sand, the white-washed arches, and the deep blue of the Mediterranean.
Hike (Approx. 2.5 - 3h, low-medium difficulty):
Section: Calella de Palafrugell -> Llafranc -> Sant Sebastià Lighthouse -> Cala Pedrosa -> Tamariu.
Description: A route that is pure visual poetry. You will pass through small tunnels, climb stone stairs with panoramic views, and discover hidden coves. The ascent to the Sant Sebastià Lighthouse offers one of the best vistas of the Costa Brava, a perfect moment for a contemplative pause.
Lunch (1:30 PM): In Tamariu, a table reserved at a restaurant right on the beach, specializing in the fresh catch of the day. Simplicity and the highest quality product.
The WE Moment (3:30 PM): Instead of walking back, a private, traditional "llaut" boat will pick you up from the cove of Tamariu. For 45 minutes, you will see the coastline you just walked from the sea. The perspective is completely different: the cliffs, the caves, and the pine trees leaning over the water. A glass of cava on board brings the experience full circle.
The historical connection between the coast and the interior.
Morning (9:30 AM): A private transfer takes you to one of Begur's most sheltered and spectacular coves: Sa Tuna.
Section: Sa Tuna -> Cap Sa Sal -> Sa Riera -> Ascent to Begur Castle.
Description: A wilder and less-travelled section of the path. The trail winds along the cliffside, offering spectacular views. The arrival at Sa Riera, a more open beach, marks a change of pace before you begin the ascent to Begur Castle, a medieval watchtower from where you can see the entire Empordà plain and the coastline.
Lunch (2:30 PM): Instead of dining in the tourist-heavy center of Begur, a private transfer takes you 15 minutes inland to the village of Pals. In the heart of the Gothic quarter of Pals, enjoy a meal at a renowned restaurant that fuses traditional "sea and mountain" cuisine with a contemporary touch.
A serene farewell and one last feast for the senses.
Morning (10:00 AM): Check-out from the hotel (your luggage will be stored). A short transfer takes you to Aiguablava beach.
Section: Aiguablava -> Fornells -> Platja Fonda.
Description: A more relaxed circular walk for your last day. The path borders crystal-clear turquoise waters, passing through the small port of Fornells and descending to the unique Platja Fonda, a cove with dark, wild-looking sand. It’s the perfect stretch for one last swim.
Walk the Azure Path: Journey along the most breathtaking and authentic stretches of the legendary Camí de Ronda, discovering secluded coves, dramatic cliffs, and pine forests that kiss the sea.
A View from the Sea: Experience the coastline from a different perspective with a private trip on a traditional "llaut" boat, providing a unique view of the cliffs and coves you've just explored on foot.
Journey to the Past: Step back in time as you wander the cobbled streets of medieval stone villages like Pals and Peratallada, crowned by the panoramic views from the ancient Begur Castle.
Gastronomy as a Destination: Savour three specially curated lunches that capture the essence of Catalan cuisine, culminating in a memorable farewell meal with your feet in the sand at an iconic beachfront restaurant in Aiguablava.
