This private day trip explores them with an official guide and private luxury transportation, before sitting down to cochinillo asado — the suckling pig dish Segovia is famous for — accompanied by regional wines and traditional desserts.

What To Expect

A full day, evenly split between walking and the table. The drive from Madrid is scenic and door to door, while in Segovia the pace is a guided stroll through the historic center. The old town is compact, with some gentle climbs toward the Alcázar.

Pickup. Your guide meets you at your hotel in Madrid for the drive out to Segovia.

The Aqueduct. First stop on arrival — the Roman Aqueduct, still standing after two thousand years.

The historic center. A guided walk through Plaza Mayor and the Gothic Cathedral, with the stories behind Segovia's role in Spanish history.

The Alcázar. Entry to the fortress-palace that inspired Cinderella's castle — turrets, towers, and the view over the Eresma valley.
